Make your next move sweeter.
Every move slides the whole board. Matching cupcakes join into a new recipe, but each successful slide also adds a new tile. The challenge is keeping room for the merges you want next.

On a computer, focus the board and use the arrow keys or WASD. On a phone, swipe inside the board or tap the direction buttons. You do not drag one cupcake to a chosen square: every tile slides in the direction you select.
Two equal cupcakes merge when they meet, doubling their value. A newly merged tile cannot merge again during that same move. A direction that changes nothing does not use a move or add a tile.
Give your largest cupcake a home.
Try keeping the largest tile near a corner, with smaller matching tiles lined up beside it. This makes it easier to build a chain toward that corner instead of chasing pairs around the board.
It is a useful habit, not a guaranteed solution. Before moving, look at what the slide will do to every row or column. A tempting small merge can pull a large tile away from its neighbours.
Empty spaces are part of the recipe.
When the board starts filling, look for a move that creates space and leaves equal tiles close enough to meet. Keep more than one useful direction available if you can.
A full board is not always finished: adjacent equal tiles may still merge. A run ends when no legal move remains. In Classic, reaching 2048 celebrates the run and lets you keep playing toward the rest of the collection.
Choose your kind of puzzle.
Classic uses a 4 × 4 board and lets you undo your latest move. Daily drop asks for a 256 cupcake within 80 moves on a seeded 4 × 4 board; undo is disabled. Chill mode gives you a 5 × 5 board and the same one-move undo.
There is no timer forcing your next move. Take a moment to inspect the board before swiping. Undo restores the previous board once; it is not a full history of the run.
A collection made one merge at a time.
Discover twelve cupcake designs as you reach higher values. Your collection and the current board for each mode stay in this browser where storage is available. A new game resets that board after confirmation; it does not erase your whole collection.
The Sugar star souvenir is earned by reaching a 128 cupcake. You can then wear the patch on your Zubboo character. It is a cosmetic keepsake and gives no advantage on the board.
