SAME RECIPE. YOUR OWN ROUTE.

256. Eighty moves. Let’s bake.

Today’s cupcake puzzle gives everyone the same starting recipe. Make a 256 cupcake before you use all 80 moves. The board waits for you, so take your time.

A new seeded challenge arrives at midnight UTC. Daily mode has no undo.

Read the starting board.

Pick a corner for your larger tiles and look for your first pair. Keep track of where a slide will send the whole row or column. The move counter advances only when the board changes.

Plan for the next pair.

As the board fills, a move that keeps two future merges available can be more useful than a single larger merge. Look beyond the score: the daily goal is the 256 tile, not a particular points total.

Try a different turn.

A fresh attempt on the same UTC day uses the same starting seed. Different decisions change the board you build from it. Notice where an attempt became cramped, then try one alternative earlier in the next run.

This is a personal practice challenge, not a global ranked competition. You can replay it without paying or protecting a streak.

Come back with a clear board.

Your daily board is saved locally while that UTC day remains current. When the date changes, the next challenge starts with its new seed. Cupcake discoveries stay in your collection unless you clear this site’s data.

For a roomier warm-up, choose Chill mode. To practise the standard board without a move budget, choose Classic.
